Abstract:

بنیادعلمی اروپا با (European Science Foundation (ESF) در سال 1974 میلادی تأسیس شد. اعضای این بنیاد را شورای تحقیقاتی، آکادمی‌ها و مؤسسات علمی از 29 کشور اروپایی تشکیل می‌دهند و در مجموعه 76 عضو دارد هدف از تأسیس این بنیاد کمک به پیشبرد علم و دانش و ارتقاء آن در سطح اروپا می‌باشد. به بیان دیگر، ESF همچون بستری است که با گرد هم آوردن دانشمندان برجسته و عوامل سرمایه‌گذار، سعی در برنامه‌ریزی و به اجرا درآوردن توانایی‌های علمی موجود در کل قارۀ اروپا دارد تا به این وسیله، شرایط رشد علم را تحقق بخشد. در این مقاله اهداف، ساختار، برنامه‌های علمی و شیوه‌های عملکرد بنیاد علمی اروپا (ESF) به اختصار شرح داده شده است.
